“Landscape (One)”2024
Site-Specific Instalation
Salt, Mirror And Fabric
(150cmx150cm)

“Landscape (One)” is an installation comprising a reflective square and four salt formations. It serves as a reflection of my personal journey with space and how my surroundings influence my self-perception.

Exploring themes of belonging and identity, I employ salt as a central element in my exploration. However, rather than using it solely to symbolize metaphorical spaces, I employ it as a medium to delve into my relationship with the environment.

“Landscape (Two)”2024
Site-Specific Instalation
Mirror and Vynil adhesive
(60cmx60cm)

“Landscape (Two)” is an mirror installation positioned within the confines of an elevator. It artfully manipulates the interplay of sight and place, leveraging the unique setting of the elevator as a transient passage. The ephemeral nature of this space adds depth to the experience, creating a momentary yet impactful encounter for viewers.

The installation serves as a catalyst for introspection, inviting individuals to engage in a dialogue with their own reflection against the backdrop of the surrounding environment. Through this interaction, viewers are prompted to contemplate notions of identity and place, pondering their relationship to the ever-changing landscapes both within and outside the elevator.

“Dialogues”2024
Salt and pigment site-specific instalation
(150cmx150cm)

4 dial audio
(10 Min)

“Dialogues” is a multidisciplinary piece comprising an immersive au- dio piece and a sculpture installation. The primary focus of this work is to analyze the metaphorical significance of the concept of “home” and its various interpretations. Through the integration of sound and sculpture, the artist aims to establish a dialogue between two facets of the same research inquiry.

The audio component, titled “Dialogue (Belonging),” encapsulates a personal narrative. It consists of four distinct recordings featuring a distorted voice recounting an experience of encountering the sea for the first time away from home. Complementing this auditory exploration, the sculpture “Dialogue (Habit)” serves as a physical representation of a spatial environment. It symbolizes an ever-evolving entity, mirroring our dynamic relationship with our surroundings.

By employing these two distinct mediums, the artist seeks to engage viewers in a discourse surrounding the notion of “home” and its nuanced implications. Through the interplay of sound and sculpture, “Dialogues” invites contemplation on themes of belonging, memory, and the evolving nature of our lived experiences.

“Salinas Grandes”

Digital photograph print
(A6, 150grm)

Salinas Grandes presents a comprehensive
overview of the conceptual themes of materiality and temporality. The digital photograph, taken in Argentina, accurately depicts the salt flats in question.

Those viewing the exhibit may choose one of the displayed postcards to take home as a tangible representation of the transient beauty of the landscape, thereby establishing an emotional connection to the images.

Such an interaction serves to obliterate distinctions between the art object and the audience, while simultaneously extending the lifespan of the fleeting moment captured by the photographic image.

“The Play Started 7 Minutes Ago”2023
Site-Specific Sculpture And Video-Installation
Clocks (300cmx300cm)
Video Projection (40”)

“I feel like I’ve always been waiting for an alarm to ring and tell me that my time somewhere its over, that I have to be elsewhere, that I’m late”

“The play started 7 minutes ago” is an immersive audiovisual installation that explores the fear of running late and the constant anticipation of time constraints. The installation consists of two components: a physical arrangement and a video projection.

The physical component comprises seven clocks placed on the floor, strategically positioned to collectively emit a subtle ticking sound. Although not intended to draw immediate attention, this continuous ticking resonates in the background, creating a persistent presence that echoes in the viewers’ minds. The auditory element serves to reinforce the underlying theme of time and its ever-present influence on our perception.

The video projection complements the physical arrangement by providing a contextual backdrop. The projection features a series of short sentences presented in a flowing manner, mimicking the stream of thoughts that occur when we are engrossed in the fear of being late. As the sentences unfold, the relentless ticking sound of the clocks accompa- nies the visual narrative, heightening the sense of urgency and restlessness.

Towards the conclusion of the video projection, the athmosphere shifts. Suddenly, a jarring alarm noise fills the room, initially intended to startle viewer.
